A blissful last day in Indonesia at the Haven Suites

Haven Suites Signage

Our Indonesia trip was full of island hopping, romantic villas and underwater adventures. It was a shame it had to end, but we are so happy we got to spend the last day in the Haven Suites, Bali Berawa.

The Haven Suites is a suite only luxury hotel. The minute we stepped into this hotel, we were awed by the opulence and the space. The rich colour scheme of gold and red and grey continued through out the hotel.

The Rooms

The room size is massive. The photo does not capture how big it it.  We are not gonna lie, that was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. The balcony opens up to the olympic size swimming pool!

Haven Suites Room

Wouldn’t that make the perfect book nook? What looks like a closet, opens up to a gorgeous bathroom. Look at that tub! Also, there are two washbasins, so no fighting over it. It’s perfect for a couple.

The toiletries cover just about everything, from a basic tooth care set to a shoe shine cloth. They have also taken that extra effort to write some witty lines that put a smile on your face. They really know how to pamper their guests, don’t they!

The Outdoors

There are 60 rooms ranging from 60 to 150 square metre. We were in the pool access suite. But if you are a family, you can choose one of their bigger suites.

Amenities at the Haven suites include:

  • A full fledged gym to work out those extra calories
  • In room spa treatments
  • Bicycles that you can borrow to explore the area

There is direct beach access from within the hotel which is open till 7pm. The road leading upto the beach is well decorated with plants which has a very calming presence.

Unfortunately on the day we were there, it rained. But if you are lucky enough to get a sunny day, you can enjoy the sundeck and laze around under the umbrella.

Breakfast at the Haven Suites

This was one of our favourite breakfasts in Bali. The spread was amazing. From baked goods to healthy alternatives, they had it all. They even had a made-to-order section which included our favourite – eggs benedict!

If you want to step out and do things around the hotel, here’s what’s nearby:

  • Echo Beach
  • Tanah Lot Temple
  • Seminyak Square
  • Petitenget Beach & Temple

To sum up, we cannot say anything remotely bad about the Haven Suites coz we loved it! Our only regret here is that we did not get to stay longer. A luxurious stay like this definitely deserves at least three days.

I would never want to leave that hotel! What a beautiful room. Since we travel with a child, we almost always book suites. The extra space is necessary with a little one. We’ll keep this hotel in mind when we visit Bali.

When I lived in Bali as it was the one time I wasn’t on a tight budget we would visit resorts on a regular basis and just spend the day there, This looks like another fantastic option and I have to say I love the little bakery section for breakfast, those muffins looks so tasty haha.
